Touchpoint

Any point of contact between a buyer and a seller.

What is a Touchpoint?

A touchpoint is any time a potential or existing customer interacts with your brand. This includes seeing an ad, visiting your website, reading a review, visiting a store, or contacting support.

Critical Touchpoints

  1. Pre-Purchase: Social media ads, blog posts, whitepapers.
  2. Purchase: Checkout page, sales call.
  3. Post-Purchase: Onboarding emails, customer support tickets, billing statements.
